WOW. *ish dumbfounded by Thor's and Leb's ignorance* lol Well, I dont remember the exact date, but the reason why Tapping wasn't in the first 6 episodes of season 9 was because she was on maternity leave. Then she brought the baby to the set with her (she was breastfeeding at the time). I also found out that Claudia Black was also pregnant when she did that one episode (where Vala was pregnant), so i think that had to play into the story line when she came back on set pregnant! lol You guys really need to get out more...or just read the Stargate SG-1/Atlantis Magazine like i do every month, to get updates. I think you can also go to www.amandatapping.com or something to get more info. |

Hello Everyone !!!!
I’m sorry it’s been so long since I’ve sent you all a message.
It’s been a fantastic and very busy season for me. I’ve just wrapped Season 8 of Stargate SG-1. It was very strange this year as we don’t know whether or not we’re coming back for another season. So we were all in denial about saying goodbye. I am also the host of a new show for Sci Fi called Proof Positive: Evidence of the Paranormal. It explores real paranormal phenomenon and puts the evidence to forensic testing. Very interesting. Also, Proof Positive is a very different kind of show for me to do. I’ve never done the T.V. hosting thing before. It was a lot of fun and I hope you enjoy it.
The really big news for me is something I have wanted for a long time. Alan and I are expecting a baby!! We are so excited! I am due on March 15th!! That’s the really great news. The sad news is that I will have to cancel my convention dates for this fall and winter. Since I will be so close to my due date, I will not be allowed to travel during February, so regrettably can’t do the GABIT event. The girls at GABIT have been extremely understanding and supportive but I am, of course, feeling terrible about having to postpone the event. I also have to cancel Level 3, France, and Germany in November and December. My doctor does not want me to be so far away and for that long. I have to say that I agree. I have been going full tilt this year and really feel that I need to look after myself and the baby. The truth is, I have had two miscarriages in the past 14 months and simply can’t take any chances with this pregnancy. I was very much looking forward to all these events and to seeing everyone. I always enjoy seeing my old friends and meeting new ones. And I sincerely apologize for disappointing anyone or messing up your travel plans. I know how much planning goes into to deciding to come to an event, purchasing tickets and taking the time off. But, I am sure you will all understand why I can’t attend. I hope you know how much I appreciate the fan support and the love I have received over the years .
I look forward to coming overseas and seeing you as soon as I can.

Hello Everyone!!
I am thrilled to announce the birth of my daughter Olivia B on Tuesday March 22nd at 6:29pm. She is beautiful and healthy!
She weighed in at 9 lbs 4ozs and was 22 inches long. I am over the moon in love!
Thanks to all of you for your prayers and good wishes. Labour and delivery were amazing. With the help of an incredible support team I was able to deliver without any drugs or intervention.
I am deliriously happy.

Yeah, a while back SciFi channel had a contest for guessing when Amanda would have her baby. That's how I found out.
I was never very fond of St. Patrick's day. I've always hated having my birthday in the same month as it. I don't know what I's do if my birthday was it. I'd probably cry. *recolects past years of being dressed in green or getting pinched.* eh, shudder

ok Allasse, first it was thor now you. Do i need to make a board called *Why not to call lebanin Leb" ha maybe i will, and i knew she was born on the 22 it just she was expecting on the 15. and i was suposed to be born on st pats.
