After the demise of the replicators the Asgard highcounsel began to recolonise their galaxy, and colonise parts of the Milkyway. From their new home planet they launched a campaigne against primarily goauld territory and against whatever resistance they encountered on worlds not entirely claimed by the replicators. They continued with this until they ammased again a siseable empire. They now have taken to rebuilding their fleets of warships and enhancing their technology. Having developed a closer alliance with Earth they maintain comuncation with the SGC but maintain their technology sharing policy to an extent. They have again become a formidable force. And they will continue to be such until something presents a more significant challenge.

Thor left the grand counsel chambers in a thoughtful mood. The desicion that was just made may very well prove usefull to the Humans of Earth. Already Thor had sat down at his console and called a dozen ships to Othalla to prepare. Thor and the counsel had already contacted Atlantis and secured several puddle jumpers for the mission. Atlantis was to be the meeting point of the fleet. Hopefully the enemy wouldn't have a chance at defending. He hoped the Humans would have some starships or at least some manpower to contribute. He dialed Earth and sent an Iris code through. Then getting out of his chair he walked through to find Jack Oniel.
