You may ask who are the wraith? well i will awnser your qeustion. The wraith are creatures that suck the life out of humans to retain their own life. The wraith are quite hi-tech and our the ones that attacked atlantis and put big destruction on it. WRAITH SHIPS: The Dart the Wraith darts are called darts becuase they resemble darts. the darts have low defensive shields but okay artillary. The Darts have culling beams which if your hit by become part of the ships memory and then the wraith drop you off in a hive ship were you are reasembled just like going through a stargate. The Cruiser the Cruisers are fair sized ships comparable with a jumper, they have fairly great fire power and good shields they hold thousands of wraith darts in side and hold many thousand wraith and they also have culling beams. The Hive ship, the hive ships are much like mother ships of the Gould they hold many thousand Cruisers and they have holding cells were the humans are hung upside down to preserve their bodys so they will be fresh and taste better. Wraith Weapons the Wraith have weapons that look similar to a staff weapon and they have many others that pack a punch. The Wraith have a material in them that makes them quite strong the pouch is located on the lower part of the arm many people took the material out and used it as a steroid but when they couldnt get any more they died

The Wraith are an advanced form of the Wraith Bug that have evolved over long periods of time after feeding on the tauri.
They evolved into monster creatures and soon started feeding on the life created by the Ancients. The Ancients fought back, and with their advanced technology, they managed to win every battle, however, due to the large number of Wraith, they could not win the whole War.
The Ancients fled back to Atlantis, giving the Wraith free control over the Pegasus galaxy. Due to the enormous appetite shared by the Wraith, they did not have enough food to sustain every Wraith indefinitely. So the Wraith went to sleep with a few Caretakers watching over them, and culling planets to keep themselves alive.
Due to their ability to regenerate, the Wraith are able to live for long periods of time, and even longer while asleep.
However, with far too many Wraith waking up, than which can be sustained, and this has caused the Wraith to separate even more than before.
