To join a faction simply ask the ruler and when the ruler places you in their kingdom you will get a nice little picture of that faction in you profile box.

Any chance you could make maybe an Earth outpost faction? Cause i have a plan for a Stargate story for one such outpost i made for it. If not then maybe just Atlantis

well i wuz going to try to develope a population before I added to many kingdoms but I could stat an atlantis sub board in earth. ill do that

Are we allowed to help factions but not join one? Because while I wouldn't mind helping Earth I don't really want to join them.

hmm, i suppose if you were active in the atlantis subboard i could create a race especially for really active members on that board, but you wouldnt be an admin and youd still answer to jack. although ill leave it up to jack to descide how he wants to integrate atlantis
