Behold the mighty Tauri. While not as they were onced predicted. The men and women of the planet Earth and motherworld of all humans, have proven themselves worthy many of time. Searching for new technologies, we have created our own means of defending ourselves and holding our own against the suprurior foes with the aid of powerful allies.
Since the Stargate was created, many aspects of life at Earth had changed. Now a galactic power in it's own right, the legend that was the Tauri has now expanded. The stargate program has been let known to the rest of the world and many off planet base sites have been constructed. The first true offworld colony was that of Atlantis. But the people of Earth are searching for one closer to home.
There are two general areas for the defenders of Earth, The Navy which has since expanded beyond the planets oceans and commands the space forces. Also the planetary forces, which at one time oinly consisted of teams based at the SGC.
Planetary Ranks
SG Team Commander:
These trained and experienced members lead the well know SG teams into battle against the onslaught of the enemy
Operations Head:
These low ranked officers are in charge of multiple SG teams and coordinate actions made by units in his/her command
Base Commander:
High Ranking officers who are the leading authority of their respective planetary base (ie: Alpha Site) The have full authority and can only be waylayed by the leaders of Earth and the head Commanding Officer.
Space Forces Ranks
F-302 Fighter Pilot:
These trained men and women pilot nimble craft based off of the Goa'uld fighter design, These fighters boast heavy .50 cal auto-cannons and contain a number of missles. They can either be ground based or based within capital ships
Capital Ship Commander:
These men/women command the capital ships of the Human fleets, from the smaller Prometheus class to the more powerful Daudelus class.
Fleet Commander:
Earth has since gathered enough men and women to create a number of it's own fleets of warships to combat the large power of it's enemies, from the now scattered Goa'uld, the ever cominf Wraith, any possible surviving replicators and the new Ori threat. These fleets are lead by the most elite of the leaders of its capital ships.
